Week Three… It’s Still About Me!

I cannot believe I have stayed the course for an entire 3 weeks!  It hasn’t been easy but it hasn’t been horrible either.  I have discovered that measuring and tracking are creating a new awareness about my consumption of food.  I have found a rye bread that is only 2 Weight Watcher smart points per slice, powdered peanut butter that is only 1 sp per tablespoon and Halo ice cream that has helped with my sweet tooth.  I am eating more protein, more fruits and vegetables, and less sugar, carbs, and fat.  My heart rate is improving and I can only imagine that my blood pressure has improved as well.

It is a process, not perfection… I am feeling healthier in just 3 weeks time!
